Your support provides vital care, support and counselling to all the people affected by the floods. Net profits are going to organisations providing these services including Lifeline who provide a range of valuable services for the community.
During the floods in January 2011, 75% of QLD was declared a disaster zone equating to 1,295,400 sq. kms. Many months since the waters receded, many people are still struggling to recover, both physically and emotionally. It may well take years to pick up the pieces and rebuild their life. Some will never get over their loss. But we can help them move foward by supporting vital counselling services to help them deal with their emotions and create new, happier memories.
