Strawberry Jam Designs - Floor Cushion reviewed by Monique Nickalls
I have recently had the pleasure of reviewing one of the most versatile and practical children's products I have ever come across.
The Strawberry Jam Designs "Family Floor Cushion" is basically 4 large cushions in one. There is velcro on each side for super easy removal of the cushions for washing - this is actually one of the coolest features of this product, as a busy Mum I hate fiddling around with silly zips or clasps and then trying to force the innards out of a too small hole (with the result that it is nearly always impossible to get the innards back inside of things!)
My 3 year old just adores the Strawberry Jam Floor Cushion, it is so comfy for him to lie on and watch television or to read or do drawing. And he just carries it from room to room to be where he wants!
This product is so impressively portable - the 4 sections just simply fold over each other to make one large compact cushion that doesn't weigh a ton. Whether it's around the house, or to take travelling, the Floor Cushion is ideal for newborns right through to big kids.
Available in the most gorgeous fabrics, there would be one to suit any child's personality. The one I received is blue, green and white stripes - just perfect for our household, boyish but not babyish, so I know my sons will not grow out of it.
I wish I had come across this product years ago when my children were babies, the Strawberry Jam Floor Cushion is just fantastic right from newborn babies where it is an ultra-comfortable and safe place to lay baby! Then the uses are endless as your child grows - a place to lounge or sleep or read or watch television, you can fold it in half or fold twice to use as a backrest or higher cushion to sit on, and the best part is if you have 2 you can even use them to sleep on for adults!! My son was sick this week and the Strawberry Jam Floor Cushion was indispensible because it was so comfortable for him to lie on whereever I was in the house, it literally became a portable bed for him.

Do you have a child that loves to lounge on the floor when they read, watch a movie, or colour? I know my daughter prefers to lay on the living room floor rather than sit on the couch. This always used to look really uncomfortable, until we got our adorable floor cushion from Strawberry Jam Designs!
This company creates large soft and cozy floor cushions that your child can use in every room of the house! These cushions are plenty big, and can be folded in half to have a back rest (like a mini sofa!) or can be folded twice to be easily stored and carried.
The cushions come in all kinds of fun patterns, like Stripes, Hippos, Butterflies, and Animals. If you are looking to add this to your nursery or child's bedroom, you are bound to find a great design that matches it perfectly!
You will find tons of uses for these floor cushions...for your babies, toddlers, adolescents, even teens & adults will find them useful!
· They are great for Playrooms...put them in the corner against the wall to create a little mini lounge area next to the bookshelf!
· Fold them in half and let your baby practice sitting up...if they tip over (we all know that happens!) they have a soft little landing and you can easily prop them up again!
· Your Child can lay with Cushions on the floor and read a book!
· Kids can take a daytime nap on them!
· Bring them to Grandma's house for a comfy place for your Baby to sit or lay. I cannot tell you how many times I could have used this when I layed my daughter down for some playtime on my Mom's hardwood floors! More comfy than a blanket!
· Your toddler will surely love to give their Baby Dolls naps on their Floor Cushions...mine loves to do this!
· Your child can bring this to a friend's house when they sleepover - a nice reminder of Home is a great source of comfort!
· Ever have to lay down in your Child's bedroom? After I got our floor cushion, my daughter woke up super early one morning (maybe a bad dream?) and we layed down together on this cushion. It was big enough for us both to have plenty of head/pillow room!

Sally was VERY kind to send me and my daughter our own Floor Cushion for this Review/ Feature. We tried out the Adorable Animals Pattern, which is SO cute and fun for my daughter to look at! For about a month now we have been testing it out, and getting plenty of use out of it. In fact, my daughter uses this cushion everyday! Whether it is curling up and reading a book, or watching her favorite show, she always likes to lounge on her Floor Cushion! Even my husband likes to fold it in half and use it a Pillow when he watches TV after she has gone to bed. I only wish I had gotten this when my daughter was still a Baby - I can think of SO many times it would have been so convenient to have!
There are 4 Cushions included that make up the product, and each cushion has an easy to use velcro opening so that you can take them out when you need to wash them. This is a HUGE plus - anyone who has children knows that! The fabric sleeve is machine washable and is made of 100% Cotton Fabrics.
These cushions would be great for pretty much any family with children!! Babies can lay on them instead of the hard floor when you play with them. Toddlers will love to take naps on them, read, and find countless other ways to entertain themselves using them too! Older kids will enjoy them as pillows to watch a movie, read, etc. Or bring them for sleepovers!
You may even want to have one to leave at Grandma's house, or a favorite friend or family member you like to visit often! With your Floor Cushion you can also buy a matching Bag to carry around your Cushion! It has handles and looks like a large overnight bag. When you aren't transporting your Cushion you could use the bag for many other things!
I know Sally is working on expanding her reach...and I must say I fully believe that these cushions would be wonderful in Day Cares, Pre-School & Schools all across the World!
